We invite you to incorporate our fun coloring sheets in your kindergarten readiness curriculum.
Each sheet features an illustration and a corresponding letter. Children engage in letter identification and can trace both uppercase and lowercase letters. The act of tracing develops hand-eye coordination, while also strengthening the muscles associated with handwriting.
Reciting the letter sound while coloring the corresponding illustration, for example “‘C’ is for car,” allows the child to create a mental and visual association which can help with leaving a lasting imprint in the mind. This activity will also help set the foundation for letter-sound correspondence which is a very important pre-academic skill.
